Our priority is always the safety and well-being of our guests.

The new measures for 2021 of Covid-19 in Alexander Beach Hotel and Village Resort:

UPON ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

• Web Check-In: The Check-in is available online. After completing check-in, you will receive a confirmation email. At the Reception Desk, you will be given the key card with the room number written on it.
• Inside the Hotel, masks are not required according to the amended protocols as of 01.06.22.**
• It is mandatory for guests to wear masks in all interior public areas of the hotel
• Visitors will have to keep 2.0 m between each other (except families or friends accommodated in the same room).
• All hotel staff have received thorough training on our enhanced protocols, in addition, are trained to identify any flu or virus-like symptoms. Alexander Beach Hotel & Village Resort is following a firm procedure for reporting to a medical hospital in case of any incident.
• Hand Sanitizing dispensers are available at the hotel entrance
• Hotel information is available digitally with the use of QR codes

ROOMS

• Due to the COVID-19 protocols, the check-in and check-out times are modified, as the time for room cleaning is extended. For that reason, the Check-in time will be at 15:00 and the Checkout time at 11:00
• Room Keys are disinfected
• Before the arrival of guests, a meticulous cleaning and disinfection program is followed
• The hotel has removed all decorative objects such as decorative pillows and reusable items likely to be shared, such as menus and magazines

RESTAURANT, TAVERNAS, BARS

• The Hand Sanitizing dispensers, which are placed at the entrances of each Restaurant, Taverna and Bar must be used during each entrance
• All seating capacities have been reduced, min. distance between tables 1,5 meters. The minimum distance allowed between tables ranges from 90 cm to 200 cm, and no more than six people are allowed at one table (exception only for families with children)
• Tables and chairs are disinfected after each sitting
• Breakfast and Dinner are available in Buffet-style hot and cold, plus Show Cooking Stations. During meal times a face mask is obligatory. It can only be removed when sitting
• Plexiglass partitions are placed where necessary
• All menus are available digitally with the use of QR codes

BEACH & POOLS

• Reduced number of guests in all pools
• Automatic chlorination for all pools is used according to the Greek Government guidelines
• Minimum 2 meters distance between sunbeds (exception only for families with children)
• Sunbeds are disinfected after each sitting
• Pre-booking of sunbeds is not necessary
• It is highly recommended to use the shower before & after the use of swimming pools
• The indoor pool remains closed according to the Greek Government guidelines

SPA, WELLNESS

• The SPA Center operates according to safety protocols and hygiene guidelines. The SPA Reception will inform you about the available treatments & necessary measures.
• Please note that the interior of the Sauna, the Hammam & the Jacuzzi is not operating in 2021 due to the COVID-19 health & safety protocols which are instructed by the Greek Government. SPORTS & ACTIVITIES

• All kinds of outdoor sports and activities including Tennis and Water Sports are available. Animation day & evening entertainment will operate as per the animation plan and according to the safety protocol instructions

DOCTORS SERVICE

• The doctor is available (on-call) 24/7, please contact reception in case of health problems
• The doctor is available daily in the Hotel at specific hours, please contact the Reception Desk for more information
• The professional medical centre in Malia is located 5 minutes driving from the hotel
• The modern hospital in Heraklion is located 25 minute's drive from the hotel

• PCR test available:
  • in the Medical Centre, nearby the Hotel (Monday-Sunday 09:00-18:00) appointment is required, the cost is 50 euros per person per test
  • In the Hotel (specific hours only when the doctor is in the) with the appointment, the cost is 55 euros per person per test
• Rapid test available:
  • in the Medical Centre nearby the Hotel 24 hours, the cost is 15 euros per person per test
  • In the Hotel (specific hours only when the doctor is in the hotel) with an appointment, and the cost is 20 euros per person per test

We will be regularly updating this info as necessary, however, measures not listed may be implemented if this is deemed necessary.

**According to the new Hellenic state guidelines, masks are required in all public transportation.
